I'm down a little more today. I was actually surprised by the loss with my lack of exercise and eating poorly since Thursday. It may catch up to me yet, but I'm going to try to do better this week. I've been feeling sorry for myself after hand surgery and didn't follow my plan to go for walks. Over the weekend I was not feeling the best with my stomach, probably from the pain meds and not eating well, so I laid around. I'm going to try to go for a walk after work today though because I need to do something. I think just doing something will help me feel good about myself and get me out of my funk of feeling sorry for myself. Just because my hand has a few stitches doesn't mean I need to eat junk and do absolutely nothing.

In other news, I'm counting down the days to vacation. We have 17 days left, then we'll be heading to the beach. Only 13 work days left (not counting today). I was gone one day from work for my hand surgery and got a phone call, so we'll see how a two week vacation is. At least it feels good to be needed. :) I'm just ready for some time on the beach searching for shells and making sand castles with the kids.
