Still not losing! Trying to be careful, but obviously I'm not in ketosis. I don't want to buy the supplies to check it, thinking I can achieve it by recording my food intake and exercise.
Today I ate zucchini salad, broccoli salad, cooked cabbage, and sugar free jello mixed with coolwhip and a few mandarin oranges. Sunday lunch is always a challenge, eating other people's cooking and not being sure what they put in it, but my lunch looks healthy. My BS two hours after lunch was 161. That's reasonable since I had forgotten to take my lunch meds. Still more calories than I should have.
I drank two cups of Keto coffee after I went home, hoping to skip supper, or eat just fat and protein.
Part of my problem is that I keep forgetting to take some of my meds. I have them measured out in the week container, but get busy or rushed and forget to take. I think I will put a post-it on my computer screen to remind me!! At 76, forgetting things is a common problem, but I need to compensate for it.

Hey there, Tex! My husband and I set alarms on our cell phones to remind us of medications. Suggestions for LCHF/keto and T2DM: Citrus fruit (mandarin orange) added to the vegetables will spike both your BS *and* your carb count. Plan your meals a day ahead and weigh, measure, and record *everthing*. Planning allows you to make adjustments in portions and types of food.

Good idea about the cell phone alarm! I have gone to DietDoctor and am starting his two week challenge today. I'm going to try to follow his eating plan and recipes and see how that works out. Today's recipes look good, and easy to follow: scrambled eggs for breakfast -- I skipped the keto coffee and had hot tea. Lunch is Keto Asian cabbage stir fry, supper is Keto fried chicken with broccoli and butter. I'm determined to get it right!!
