Well, I am in a dilemma. I have 2 social engagements this week and I will be eating either Italian, Greek or seafood at both meals. I don't know whether to go off the drops for a week, eat sensible as I have been doing, and then start over again, or just keep on with the program and take my chances. Any advice, fellow HCG'ers?

Cheating will happen but if you can avoid it by planning accordingly you will be much better off for it. I like to eat something good and healthy before I go out. Just! before you go out!. Eat enough so that you can order healthy seafood and be satisfied througout the evening. The seafood should act as the end of the meal where you can avoid all of the nasty extras because you are already getting full. Think how happy you will be the next day. Of course you can go crazy and then hate yourself while working hard for the entire following week to make up for what has caused you to hate yourself. Hmmmmm

I did the HCG diet I am now on phase 3. I had a couple of days of cheating while on the diet. The doctor that I went through said to stay with the injections. On the plus side it did not take long to drop the extra pounds that were gained. You just have to make sure you are willing to go back since you will gain weight by eating the extra calories and foods that are not allowed on the HCG diet. Good Luck!

Hi TrimDown! I wondered about that. I thought, well, if I eat angel hair pasta, will I gain 10 lbs?!?!?! Since I have the lap band, I get full easily so I think I'm going to be ok. I have never been committed to a weight loss program like I am to this one. It seems to be giving me the results that I want and taking me closer to my goal every week. I appreciate your words!
