Right now life is kicking my butt something FIERCE. My Dad died unexpectedly Thursday & I've got to deal with the funeral & disposal of assets, etc. It's definitely the sort of thing that can make you go off on a binge, but surprisingly I have little appetite and am maintaining my weight at least. My sister, who I haven't seen in 10 years, is flying in from Delaware today to help out, thank God! This next week could be the most challenging week of my life. Dad & I weren't real close, and I have alot of regret about that, but I will find a way to deal with that. May be quiet on FS for awhile, this is why.

You will survive this most difficult time in your life. Lost my dad at the age of 61. My mother was 80. Fortunately, my brother and I are very close and were able to keep it together. There will be many things you must accomplish. Hopefully, your father's estate is in a trust. Probate is a long and somewhat expensive process. I wish you strength and blessings.
