Today I was reminded of why I am fat. Tonight, for supper, I made guisada. This is one of the first times I have cooked something without altering the recipe since I started this diet. I just made it as usual, but weighed out my portion of 4 ounces. Then my SO made his plate, and he got at least 4 times as much as I did. That is when it really hit me. This is why you're fat! What my SO got is what I used to eat! My portion today seemed tiny, my plate was far from full. But it was satisfying. I also ate quite slowly, he finished before me, even though he had so much more. I am still just learning about portions, and was pleased to be enjoying guisada, a food I was sure I would not be allowed to eat anymore. Moderation!

However, today is not all joy. I failed this morning. After being up until the early hours drinking beers with my SO, I fell victim to my go-to hangover remedy, Braums. I only ate half my food at 'breakfast' and finished the rest for a late lunch. I also indulged in a bit of a banana split. But my SO ate over 2/3 of it.

Additionally, I forgot to take my Alli supplements today. I am very upset about it, especially as I cheated by having fast food today! Weigh in tomorrow. I hope I didn't gain! Bad week. Will work harder this upcoming week!
