Another set back- I am now on crutches! I messed up my knee a couple of weeks ago, and the pain has gotten progressively worse over the last few days. I went in for x-rays yesterday, and they found something strange, not sure what's up yet. I started physical therapy this morning, and have it wrapped up, but the pain is still pretty intense.
So, so much for increasing my workouts this week! Darn it anyway! I'm a bit miffed about that- I was looking forward to getting some miles in. but, the weather isn't the greatest, so maybe it's supposed to be my time to focus on rest and eating right for now, and increasing my excercise next week. I'll have to look at it that way, I guess. There is no point in getting too upset- that'll just make me mad! :)

Ouch! How long will you be on crutches for? I broke my heel bone a few years ago in a karate accident and was in a walking boot, then on crutches and back in the walking boot.

I only had to be on crutches for a couple of days- the PT helped quite a bit, but they still don't know what I did. Could just be that I need to strengthen my leg up. I tend to favor that side of my body anyway, so it's pretty weak. another thing I can work on!
