Boom, what cardio can't give ya. All about resistance training.

I don’t want to be a dick, but looking at those pictures I think the difference is you stood up strait and pulled your shoulders back in the positive one. I measure myself very infrequently because I want to make sure the change is meaningful and not imagined. And when you’re training for muscle it’s going to take time unless you workout voraciously and eat to match.

Except for she took measurements and she gained 2 whole inches on her glutes and lost .5 on her waist at the same time. When you start off small muscle gain can be quick and apparent and it is very apparent. Maybe you need a better eye for the details. Look at her tricep too.

Did you get these great results with only doing cardio?

Really noticed the tricep...even "if" some of that was just flexing, there is a huge difference. I would be interested to know the difference in that measurement! Pic looks awesome Rylee, keep up the good work, it is definitely inspiring me!!

Nahh, I understand that. The posing is different. I feel like one of the biggest changes I made in these 5 months was my posture. I went from 250-120 about a year or so ago. My posture was terrible and I had quite a bit of back pain. That followed me through my weight loss. It wasn’t until I ditched cardio and started Weightlifting (Romain deadlifts specifically) that I noticed such huge improvements on my pain, posture, and range of motion. I’ll post another picture where I am posing the same around the same time of the images in this post. I try to track with a mix of measurements and pictures, but haven’t consistently taken them in the same setting until recently.
Thank you to everyone, I appreciate the support. I really enjoy the routine I’m in now. I have a lot of fun in the gym. 🙂

Ditching cardio is the best decision 👍🏻

Ditch that cardio. Use it sparingly if you ever introduce it again. Again, awesome gains!

When I was lifting the weights I was actually doing circuit weight training. The theory at the time was that breaking it up with cardio and moving between upper body and lower body all in the same workout was why it was so successful. Is this not the theory any more?? Are we really ditching cardio completely?? I mean, I'm on board, I hate walking...super boring but isn't it still considered beneficial?? You guys tell me, you are the experts as anyone looking at the pics will attest!!

It's so obvious. No offense but you went from bony and frail to fit looking. This is what I wish other girls would do before trying to keep losing weight when they are already very light because they still have a little stomach pudge. Eat and lift and you'll lose that pudge while gaining tone everywhere.
