It's been 5.5 months since I got hit by a car. I started work again last week.

I have a hard time with my diet plan. I do well in the day and I eat dinner and then I want to binge eat. The exercise that you do when you want to binge eat is a mindfulness technique. You sit with the feeling and just "watch it". Let it go over you. Don't react to it. Eventually the feeling of "I want to binge eat" is supposed to pass.

I get so uncomfortable during this time I can only "stand it" for so long. I eventually get up and go for the food that I want which was dry cereal last night. I guess whatever feelings are in the noggin I don't want to think about. I will have to keep trying.

I am learning to walk again. Well I can walk but I look like a robot and I have stamina for about 50 feet. It's really terrible. So I decided I would go on the sidewalk at the plaza I work at and count squares. Today I did 2 sets of 32 squares. (I would say that is about 100 feet per set)

I know the feeling. I make hot herbal tea which helps. Also bought a silicone popcorn popper for the microwave and a jar of popcorn kernels. Healthier choice. You dont need to use oil. They make popcorn seasonings that are just one or two calories. Spray I can't Believe Its Not Butter. Pretty good.
