June Miles 33

That's all folks! Last day of JUne-ran 3 miles this am. My stamina is on hiatus.

Eating has been wildly out of control. Frozen yogurt, whole some morning muffins (450 cals, is that wholesome?), pizza, rice, pasta. Finally weighed myself this morning-only because stepchild took out the scale to weigh his luggage before getting on a plane yesterday. That's a whole other stress story. I was bracing for 150 + and was relieved BUT NOT pleased to see 147. I want to lose 17 pounds. I WILL DO IT this year.

Saw my brother of the "heart-attack" yesterday. He looks horrible. Back at work and on the base-he is airforce reservist AND working full time. It drives us all crazy! He won't slow done and just feeds us mollifying lines. The thought is that he experienced a "neurological event" that affected oxygen to his heart. He told me he is going to cardiologist and neurologist for further testing. It may be congenital. I have to call SIL and see if we can have an intervention.

Pledging to have a healthy long weekend full of veggies and exercise. Swimming if the sun ever comes out.

So sorry to hear about your brother. And I fully believe you about the 17 lbs. I also wanted to thank you for the tape suggestion. I even hung from the side of the bed for application. Worked great. Weekend of veggies and exercise sounds like just what I need.

Sorry about your bro too. You 2 need to teach me the double sided tape thing. Cant you cut the pasta/breads out a little. Well, there is no harm if its 100% whole wheat, it is right? You have to weigh often so you know what to work with. I am glad it wasn't over 150 too, now for sure thats the extra motivation to get those last 17 off, you can so do it!

Congratulations on 33 miles! Give yourself credit, girl! 17 pounds is very do-able. Let's make this summer our time to shine! Glad your brother is going to a cardiologist and neurologist - maybe they will get through to him and he'll do what he needs to do.
