Well, this last weekend I was lazy and did absolutely nothing around the house, so I will have to do laundry, etc. after work this week. I hate doing that, but it's got to get done. I went to my brother's home on Saturday to see my niece before she left to go back to Norfolk, VA. It was nice. We had dinner and I was good and stayed away from the bad stuff. I also made a point of only filling my plate once and most of it was filled with a salad. I have some bad news. My gym closed that was close to my home. There are two other locations in the city, but neither are as convenient as the one that I signed up with. I may choose to quit the gym and start exercising on my elliptical machine in my home. I have a family room downstairs where the TV is and a living room upstairs and thought about switching the family room into a workout room. It's a fairly small room, but I don't need a huge room. I could fit my elliptical machine and possibly one other piece of equipment and still have some floor space to do exercises, weights, etc. I've thought about getting a wii fit to help with exercising. It's a lot cooler in my basement, so it would be very comfortable for working out. I feel I would get more use out of a workout room versus two living room spaces. I have a very small home. Upstairs is the kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom and two bedrooms (one is my office). Downstairs is the unfinished laundry room, finished bedroom and family room. I've been tossing this idea around for awhile and I think I'm liking it more and more. We'll see.
