I have joined a couple of challenges and a group hoping they will help get me motivated. I want to lose 20 - 30 lbs by my wedding on 10/10/10 and then another 20 - 30 lbs by next summer.

D and I are also trying for our first child and I need to lose weight to maintain a healthy pregnancy. I have been depressed lately due to my weight which has been making it hard to stick to a diet or work out. Wierd isn't it that you are depressed about being over weight and the things you do because of that depression causing you to gain more weight. UGH... Well I am going to do it this time I am going to lose this weight and keep it off this time.

It's so mental... I hear ya! Good luck! Try one small step - force yourself to stick to the challenge for a week. You'll see the difference. You just need a good boost and the cycle will reverse itself. I've been a yo-yo throughout my whole life - mostly in the upwards direction! Ok maybe more like a bungee cord. lol

Thanks for the support it helps a lot. Today I am going to be hoeing and raking out all the weeds in my back yard so we can plant sod I am not sure how many calories it will burn but i'm sure it will burn some...
