☹️😭 While I’m grateful that I’m losing some weight (100g last week) I’m not losing much. It’s been a month and a half of calorie counting and I’ve only lost 2kg. My daily average is 1100kcal. I had 3 HIIT work outs last week. Previous weeks I would go for brisk walks/jogs twice a week for 45 mins.
I eat brown rice and brown bread. No junk food, no chocolate, no fried foods! I’m trying to lose weight in a sustainable way but I don’t know if it’s working. I don’t want to resort to a diet but if I have to I will. I just don’t like that when you go back to regular eating you pick up the weight again.

I had a look at your weight and I think you are probably in the same boat I was. Start size and goals are similar. It is tough going because you THINK 1 or 2 kg is not much, but when you look at it terms pf percent of body weight lost, you are looking at much higher numbers. When I only lost a kilo in a month recently and I was frustrated at that, it was eye opening to realise that I was attempting to lose 15% of my overall body weight even if it was only 9 kilos... With smaller numbers required for weight loss, it is slow and hard. Don't give up! keep at it because I thought I could lose 9 kilos in 4 months - easy peasy right? Wrong. September is month SIX and I still have a kilo to go. In the mean time,I have taken that time to retrain my eating patterns. I have only lost on average 1.5kg per month which some people may laugh at... But my journey and your journey is different - and all those small 1.5kg losses are adding up. I am 8kg down. Only 1kg to go because I stuck it out and refused to give up, especially with help from people here.

Ms Cornwall that is so true and I didn’t even think of it that way. It is quite a high body percentage I’m aiming to lose. Thank you for this, it’s really helpful. I will hang in here and keep losing my kilos less than others, and remember that it will all add up in the end. Well done on your hard work and determination 🌺🌸
