Here I am! I have been MIA for quite some time- not that I haven't been checking in on all of you, but I have been doing so horribly on my WOE that I haven't felt worthy of writing or recording :( I know this is a horrible excuse, and I hate to admit it, but we have been so busy with our building project that I haven't even had time to go grocery shopping, not to mention COOK! I've been eating whatever is handy, mostly a quick pizza or a sandwich, anything we can grab before heading back out to the house. I haven't really gained, but I sure haven't lost! And I don't feel as lean as I was feeling before, mostly because I feel like I bloat more when I eat crap food.
This project is really taking a toll. We work all day at our jobs, then come home and sheetrock, mud, sand, do insulating, etc till 11 or so, then crash and get back up the next day to do it all over again! I love that we are saving a ton by doing the work ourselves (hubby is amazing!). We both can't wait to be done, though. We don't have a kitchen yet, so cooking is not as easy, and our current house is pretty much empty! The furniture is all out, and we are sleeping on the kitchen floor! The buyers come on Monday to take the trailer, so we're scrambling to get at least our bathroom and bedroom ready in the new house, so we're down to the wire.
I haven't had the energy to get up and walk in the mornings, either. Today I woke up at 6, and thought "I should get up and walk", but I couldn't do it! I hate that I didn't get up. That little bit of exercise would have felt great, but I am so exhausted from the construction....I hate the excuses! Ugh.
Buddies, am I letting myself down, or is there really a line when you just can't do any more?

No way! You can't get down on yourself for not going walking this morning when you're working your butt off! You're getting all the exercise you need and then some. Don't sweat it and when things back to normal, then you can get back to your normal routine. Good luck getting everything done!

all that and you are not gaining too much! You already are keeping so active, that i bet if you learned to make the right food choices, yes at fast food! you would start dropping too! and lift heavier objects, squat inbetween projects. I squat when i feed my son, he thinks its HILARIOUS! btw whats a WOE and what are you building- a whole entire house... my husband wants to do that, but we have two kids and I joke that w/ my lack of patience it would end in a divorce! lol anyway... did you see there is a new challenge... don't know if you have the time, but its only 4 weeks, it might be what you need!
