when I got married almost 8 years ago. I wore a little black dress with the word "love" all over it. I still have that dress. Occasionally, I pull it out to wear. Yesterday was one of those times. I realized that it is getting bigger. Which, as we all know, is a good thing.

Now I find myself dreaming about the future. I dream about what it will be like to see my feet without bending. What it will be like to NOT bump my hips into furniture. What will it be like to actually be smaller them my husband?

These aren't normal things that wives thing about. But I never set out to be normal. I have no idea what that is like. All I know is that I would like to know what it feels like. But there are bad sides to this also.

I have RA. And with RA....as your body changes...so does the disease. Your white blood cells are attacking your muscles all the time. So there are times that you are hurting quite a bit. I find myself reaching for food as a comfort for this.

I have to find a way of comforting myself with the intake of food. I've been doing this since I was in 2nd grade. Old habits are hard to break. So what can I do? What can I substitute? I've been doing tea....herbal. Sometimes that helps. But sometimes....just waiting for the pain relievers to kick in...is just too much. I could just cry.

Its going to be a search for my new comforter.
