Getting on a bit late this morning after a wonderful, fun day yesterday at my friend's daughter's wedding. They all looked absolutely gorgeous, the ceremony was beautiful & the reception in a park at the beach with an indoor carousel and reception hall -- such fun -- even went for a ride on the merry-go-round!
But even though I only had 2 glasses of wine & we were home at midnight, I know I'll fell sluggish & tired today. Luckily we have no plans other than household stuff, so I will nap & take it as easy as I can. Being tired is a definite trigger for me, so I'll start my day in prayer --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.
And for this one day and each one meal, moment, bite, emotion & feeling of being tired and hungry, I'll pray, breath, log, post, express & rest my way through. xoxox
