That’s what we tell patients first when they bring up concern. The flu kills thousands every year.  

Jcmama777– we have outsourced so much of our manufacturing to China that we are really at risk for these shortages. This virus has caused China to shut down massive amounts of manufacturing plants in order to keep the virus spread down.—are you watching the stock market? We are experiencing the biggest one day losses in history because of the impact China has on us and the world. Recession here we come. Trillions of dollars in financial loss. 

That’s what we’re talking about yesterday and all ports are shut down. It just makes your head spin though that we don’t keep a lot of work here. The stock market is so in the red for days now. I only catch the news in the morning.

Jcmama777– why we don’t keep more manufacturing here is a true keg of worms— entering the political arena, so we won’t go there, but think high union wages and benefits and the public demand for CHEAP, LOW QUALITY stuff. 

Oh yes no politics🙌🙌  

Our friends are traveling to the Philippines on Sunday to visit their son (retired military) & his family for a week. My friend looked high & low for masks to wear on their flight with no luck. They might wait but their son was diagnosed with liver disease (tumours) that were initially thought cancerous but were discovered to be benign. I had a package of masks for protection against drywall dust, etc. literally fall at my feet when I was hanging up my coat Wed. night. My friend is stocking up on alcohol wipes. Be careful, JC....we just don't know who may become infected at this point. 

Where my jc girl all day???? Missing you. I always count on your good morning. Thought you slept in...kinda late now 🤪🤪🤪you must be up...so shout out to me pleeeeease...need to know you’re ok?!?! ❤️😘🥰❌⭕️💄  

My two-year-old aunt died in the 1918 flu pandemic. I'm keeping you in my thoughts, JC. On a happier note, I'm glad you have a supportive husband to share your journey with. Teamwork makes the dream work!! 

I got influenza A in spite of having gotten the flu vaccine, but it only knocked me down badly for about 4 days, and I was feeling pretty good at a week out. I've discovered that I am constantly touching my face and try and tell myself to JUST STOP. If I am wearing a mask, I tend to touch that as well, rendering it a pretty useless protection for me. So I wash my hands a lot, as I sing row row row your boat twice to myself.

Hi wifey ♥️♥️ I’m ok luv. I just got really fatigued yesterday and just didn’t have energy to barely do laundry. We ordered pho 🍲 last night because it was easy and I just needed the couch. I couldn’t even keep up on the forum so I just rested. But I’m ok friend ♥️💄 ☕️ 💜💚 I have to work this weekend and I’m tired 😴. Sherry, that is so scary. I’m glad they were benign!! But it is such a risk. Same here metamora. It didn’t take me down as bad as it would have had I not gotten the vaccine and hand washing is everything!! Joleen, it is no joke very scary the flu is definitely deadly and thank you ♥️Hubby has been a huge support over the last year🥰🥰
