Sorry to hear that. Have you tried asking her why she isn't interested? It may give you some insight as to any issues that you are unaware of. Whatever her answer is, know that it is not your fault. There is a woman out there that will be interested in you in that way. Give it some time. 

Your finally ready....but what about her? Guess you will need to do a lot of talking before you get anywhere. Its not like flicking a switch. Sorry if I sound harsh, but I was in her position. 

We have discussed it, at length. I know it's not a switch. It has to do with her insecurities. 23 years of marriage; intamacy isn't the main thing of our marriage. She's interested, but it only goes so far. I think that's the difficulty. Motors get reved up, the lights go from red to yellow, waiting for the green; and she takes the key out and shuts down. I have all the time it will take. Just a little surprised. 

Just an idea--But sometimes women internalize things and blame ourselves for lack of intimacy. Meaning--when you guys weren't having much physical intimacy she may have been thinking that you no longer found her desireable. Let her know that it was your own insecurities and physical disabilities that caused the lack of physical contact. Let her know how desireable she has always been to you. This may help some of her own insecurities. Women want to be loved and desired by their mates.
