I've been staying at the Jerome County Fairgrounds in Jerome, Idaho this week, enjoying the mild weather here. I'm also here to do laundry, restock some supplies and get new tires on the truck.
I have some pictures of the area to share. Thank you for reminding me about sharing photos, jcmama777 and shirfluer! 😘
Here's a description of the photos:
1) The Perrine Memorial Bridge is a famous landmark in this area. It spans the Snake River, and is so high that base jumping is allowed from it.
2) This is the view of Snake River from the bridge overlook.
3) This is artwork from what I presume is a local artist at the JCF (Jerome County Fairgrounds) where I'm camping this week.
4) The groundskeeper at the JCF has some awesome rosebushes. This is one of the roses.
5) Centranthus are native to southern Europe, but one is here at the JCF.
6) This is bindweed, yes a weed.
7 & 8) There's a horse track at the JCF, and I got to watch some horses being exercised.
