Hi everyone! I increased my Vyvanse for binge eating and it seems to be helping. It is not a magic bullet. It just makes it easier to use the techniques I know to stop a binge. Mindfulness is a often used technique (urge surfing), dialectic cognitive behavior modification, journaling, reading. If any of you identify yourselves as binge eaters and you need recommendations on where to start looking for solutions, let me know. I would not say I am successful yet, but I have done so much research I know I can at least point you in the right direction. I am currently eating 2x a day (breakfast at 10:15 and dinner at 3 - 4 pm). So it is a 16:8 fast. NO SNACKING. This is essential because you want to keep your insulin levels down as low as possible. Especially if you are a type 2 diabetic, which I am. I just bought a keto mojo blood tester with glucose and ketone strips. I am very data driven. It's expensive but I would like to know if I am producing ketones and how my diet affects this production. I am praying that I can stay on track now. I am at 324. It's a major point for me because I have gone up and down from this point for a couple months. I feel if I can break through this and get below 320 I will really take off. I'd appreciate any prayers you can give for me. Thanks everyone - have a great day!
