While getting my exercise today I took some photos of beautiful Montana to share.
Here's a description of the photos:
1) Highway 324 goes to the Horse Prairie Campground where we're camping.
2) We're camping next to the Clark Canyon Reservoir.
3) We're surrounded by mountains here.
4) A mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) came right through the campground.
5) A wood-nymph (Cercyonis pegala) butterfly on tall hedge mustard (Sisymbrium loeselii)
6) Scarlet Globemallow (Sphaeralcea coccinea)
7) Skeletonplant (Lygodesmia juncea)
8) Common Mullein (Verbascum thapsus)
9) Curlycup Gumweed (Grindelia squarrosa)
10) A woodland skipper (Ochlodes sylvanoides) on tall hedge mustard (Sisymbrium loeselii).
