Hi FS Gang! I had a great weekend away at the Allegheny National Forest and Cooks Forest. Great being out in nature. I only hiked on a trail once - it's was all I could do to make it back to the car 10 steps at a time. Ugh. Well, at least I got out there and got some walking exercise. I stuck to my eating plan and was rewarded with a couple pound loss and I made my goal for July of 310! On Saturday I ate inside at a restaurant which I haven't done in months b/c of COVID. It felt weird to eat so much food - half a salad, 5 grilled shrimp, and a hamburger, no bun. I had to keep reassuring myself that I did not binge eat, that it was low carb, and I hadn't eaten off plan. I was so worried to get on the scale when I got back. I think I was worried b/c I ate a little bit past full so a tad bit of overeating. I know I'm a little hyper-vigilant now but it only takes one wrong move to get off plan when you are a binge eater. I have not binge eaten for 2 weeks!! Hurray! Only 10 pounds left until I finally get rid of those 50 pounds I gained after my accident! So far I am 19 hours into a 42 hour fast. I feel pretty good too. I did this same fast last Thursday. This week I will fast today and Friday. I am not pushing it too hard on fasting because it's hard and it takes practice. I can't wait to read everyone's accomplishments and status from the weekend. Have a great day everyone! NEVER give up!
