What a great day to be alive. Since beginning this way of life I have gained more that I have lost. I have many new friendships here on FatSecret and otherwise. I stayed at home almost all of the time before. It was very hard to get me to go out of the house except for church. I know that isn't what God wanted me doing...hiding. Now I have to no excuses not to do what God wants me to do. I can't hide behind being fat any more. I do feel alot better now and feel like meeting new people and being of service to my church and community. Plus, I can't forget my family committments which come before church. The FatSecret community is just as important as my suroundings. Thank God for all of you. Have a wonderful day.

WOW Cindy, you have really identified yourself. Yes, we can do this. I am so happy for you, that you now want to do things and you are seeing yourself as a very different person now. Cindy, isn't it the greatest feeling, when we finally realize that God really wants us to be happy, healthy, and is willing to help us on this journey if we simply give Him the opportunity. You are changing from the inside out and that is exactly the way it should be. We can't make our outside changes permanent without first making some permanent changes inside!
