It's been a good week. Sticking with the intake and killing it at the gym. Excited for my official weigh in tomorrow. Not going to lie, I've weighed in every day this week to make sure that damn number was going to change, and it has but it's only official on Fridays lol. Went to the gym Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. Going to go tonight just for cardio. I never do strength training before a weigh in because in my crazy mind I believe it will bloat my muscles and I'll weigh more lol. Might be true, but it does sound a bit crazy! Then another gym day tomorrow afternoon. The trick is sticking with it on the weekends. Now that I know the error of my ways this shouldn't be hard to do. I want the 220's!! Then the teens, then the tens, ones and nineties. And I want all of that before December! A little over ambitious I'm sure. Actually I'd be more than happy with 211 by thanksgiving, so I can tell all my nosey family members I've dropped seventy-five pounds. I wanted to drop 100 before new years but I probably screwed myself out of that by taking a couple month long break during the summer. Ah well, It's going to come off eventually. I can only do what I can do every day. It takes time :-) Now that I've gotten completely ahead of myself on a Thursday morning, Here's to a good solid loss tomorrow morning!!

You have such a great attitude! I hope you have a great "official" weigh-in tomorrow! The weekends are my biggest struggle, when I have the food available I just go crazy. I'm rooting for a great weigh-in day for you!!

Thank you mars! The positive attitude comes from years and years of failure lol. (ass backwards right!?) In the past I've always set goals, messed them up and gave up. Most of the time I ended up gaining even more weight than I had lost. Food was very comforting for me. When I started in March I decided that I was going to watch what I ate and go to the gym and see what happened. As long as I have stayed consistent the weight has come off. I saw this one post on pinterest that has kind of become my mantra, it said something along the lines of 'Don't worry about the time it will take to accomplish your goal, the time will pass anyway'. And that really rang true for me because Its been ten years worth of up and down dieting because I didn't get the results I wanted. Doing this the right way is yielding the results I want, so I'm going to try not to focus too hard on the time it takes. I struggle on the weekends because A)My husband is lazy lol so I tend to follow suit. He works sixty hours a week, and he is entitled to his days of lazy, but it doesn't help me to get off the couch! B) I cook all week, all I really want to do is order a pizza! and C) I love a good bon fire, which generally comes with lots of drinks, lowering my 'give-a-shit ometer' and leading me to snack uncontrollably. lol Not this weekend though!! No drinking, and no snacking like a bear before hibernation! Thank you for your kind words and support!! Looking forward to a good weigh-in, and increased self-control this weekend, for both of us!

That's great to hear you are losing weight and you've found something that works for you. When I started losing weight over a year ago, I thought process was to lose 2 lbs a month and that over a year it would add up to 20-25lbs. Slow and steady wins the race! If you take it slow it won't hurt as much either!! Keep up the great attitude!

Thank you all!! Motivation isn't as important as you think alex, just stay dedicated to moving forward and you will get the results, and the results are what's motivating lol :-)

I am planning to start Zumba classes 3 nights a week. I hope that will help motivate me to move and lose weight. Sadly, I can't start them on Monday (when the class starts) because I will be in Houston for 2 weeks. My friend is going to let me borrow her DVD (she is the instructor) and I hope to force myself to start the class in my hotel room. I don't want to be so far behind the rest of the class

Exercise is a great mood enhancer, and after a while you will grow quite fond of it. Definitely make yourself do those zumba workouts while you're traveling. Look at it this way, you will never regret a workout, so why not! The negativity is all in your head. Remember that when it gets hard it's not your body telling you to stop, its your mind. Once you get that loud mouth to shut it, it's easy peasy lemon squeezy. Best of luck alex, you got this!

Thanks. I am really hoping I will like this class. And hoping it will really help the pounds fall off
