Don't get discouraged we all have stalls. Also remember everyone's weight loss journey is different. Some may also have a higher metabolism than you. So that could factor in on their gains and losses. Just regroup and figure out what works best for you. Try doing more of whatever you did when you had your last drop. Also switch up and make workouts more challenging. Your body could be getting used to what you're doing and that will definitely cause a stall. I'm sorry you keep getting stalled. But don't get distracted by others and stress yourself out. You've got this! 😊

I totally get it! there's a few things I've been doing different that seem to help but I know everyone is different and you gotta figure out what works for you. I added a protein supplement cuz i rarely get 20% protein a day. i walk a minimum of 30 min most days. i notice when i don't i can't seem to lose at all. I also notice when i don't get enough sleep my body hangs onto weight. I also feel like weighing weekly might feel more rewarding as the drop will be bigger than a tenth here and there. I also identified my weakest moments are at night when I'm watching tv. so I plan a small 200 cal snack usually candy. then I plan another 200 cal snack before bed usually protein like low cal cheese or nuts. don't give up! if all else fails maybe check with your doctor to see if there might be a reason.

I don't have anything. but stay at it. we won't respect what we don't pay for. so I've learned slower victories are more sustainable and more enjoyable. like that first meal after a long fast.

Have you tried intermittent fasting? Also, I found that my body will not let me lose weight if I eat empty carbs. I always eat high fiber complex carbs, protein, and drink a lot of water. And I do intermittent fasting every day. I find that if I start fasting before 330 pm I tend to keep myself from wanting an evening snack because I have already committed to my fast. Honestly, the last few weeks since three of my four kids are now in school doing the distance learning I haven't been very active and worked out or hiked and I still have lost pounds as well as inches. I do plan to start our morning 5am hikes back up once we have a better routine in, but I am pleased that with intermittent fasting and mindful eating I have seen progress. I encourage you to look into intermittent fasting if you haven't already. Don't be discouraged by other people's progress, our bodies are all different and we all hit plateaus. That's just our body's way of telling us that we need to change what we are doing.

Hi Yasmin, I looked at your food diary, and if you are logging everything you're eating, you may not be eating enough. If we cut out calories back too much, our bodies can go into starvation mode and resist losing. I'm 77 years old, not very active and I eat 1500-1600 calories a day and I've lost over 85 pounds in the last 16 months. I follow CICO (calories in, calories out) and I have no food restrictions as long as my meals fit into my RDI (recommended daily intake). While I eat mostly fresh, unprocessed foods, I also eat white rice, potatoes, ice cream, cookies and other starchy foods, just in moderation. I weigh everything I eat (in grams, more accurate than ounces) and I log it all, the good, the bad and the ugly. There are many different WOE (ways of eating) on this site. Sometimes it takes a while to learn which way works best for you. Good luck on your journey! 🌈

See this is why I won't leave this app....sooooo much support and continuous learning. Thank you all for taking the time out for me. Iv taken note. I think something that rang a bell was not eating enough calories. Sometimes I cant be bothered to eat, sometimes I just dont have the appetite but I'll do better. Iv finally found my step for step aerobics and iv always enjoyed that workout so I'll get back on that, do better on my water and food. Thank you for all the support.

And, like it or not, physical activity really is an important component to long term weight control. Walk, dance, ride a bike— whatever works for you plus strength training. It’s muscle that burns calories. Good luck to you
