The party went great, I had a blast with my aunts, Uncles, and cousins. It was like a holiday, so I went all out and curled my hair. I have boat loads of hair so this was an undertaking all in itself. I'm going to be uploading a pic when I'm done here to compare my face shot yesterday to my face pic when I got married. A great before & during.
I was thinking about what you guys said about enjoying my indulgence day, having some wine and not worrying about it. But while I was at Wal-Mart looking for a new shirt I had a hard decision to make. A big ol bottle of wine or a shirt to wear to the party. With money being tight I didn't feel right buying both for myself, I have a hard time buying anything for myself lol. I decided I wanted a new skinny shirt more than I wanted wine. Then I had an epiphany. This decision was no different than the small decisions I make everyday regarding my diet and gym routine. I want to lose weight more than I want junk food, I want to be fit more than I want to sit on the couch watching TV, and yesterday I wanted to show off my weight loss more than I wanted to drink a ton of empty calories. It's small decisions like this that have led to my big loss. So in my opinion, losing weight isn't about being glued to one specific set of weight loss guidelines for the set amount of time, it's about a million different choices you make at any given time.
I loved my new shirt, which I am insanely proud to say I bought in the JUNIORS section!! Not the womans, not the plus size. I almost died, literally. Can't wait to get off another twenty pounds and open my horizons even further.
At the party I at a burger, deviled eggs and pasta salad. Some crackers and beef dip that was to die for lol. I don't believe I over ate, because I didn't eat nearly anything before the party so it should even out. I had a hand full of jello shots, because everybody loves jello shots lol, but I'm confident none of that will have a negative effect on the scale this week.
