this effort actually started about a week prior to my journaling. My starting weight then was 178, so I didn't loose the first 8 as quickly as it appears here, but that doesnt mean I am any the less thrilled that I have actually dropped that weight in about 14 days! kudos to me! I am no longer fearing the Scale.

Menopause has made maintaining my weight a whole different scenario and during the Covid lockdown and put on an extra 19 for sure. I was eating and drinking like I was on a non stop HI Carb gourmet bacanal. Shortly after the lockdown, I got a new roommate that works at a popular coffee house and he was bringing Bread, Rolls and Gourmet Pastries home from work on a weekly basis. Then my Beloved horse Stormy died, and I was having more cocktails to help cope...2 a day for a while and that alone will mess up any weight loss efforts. I have come out of that greif a bit and haven't had a cocktail in about 10 days but plan to allow one per week if I want it. And that is how I put on the "Covid-19"

My fitness trainer wants me to keep it under 1300 calories a day and this Fatsecret thingy is really helping. My trainer also wants me to have the bulk of my calorie intake in the morning...not the night as has been my common habit. I was surprised the other night when my dinner meal racked over 600 calories (most of it fat) and FS reminded me to keep it under 500. Having some Brekkie now!...oh gave up the whole milk lattes and switched to unsweetened soy with little to no grams of sugar and carbs and a lot more protein than just about anyother Alternative - Milks...
