Nice pictures. For that view I'd do without running water or electric hook up. keep us posted and stay safe.

Incredible, Lonnie! Hopefully it isn’t too hot there. But there’s plenty of sunshine to power up those solar panels I’m sure. Enjoy the area and stay safe! 💖

Lonnie, do you ever get spooked camping in such remote locations? It seems like you're the only ones out there in the middle of nowhere.

So beautiful Lonnie, all of them, but I think my favorite is that lone juniper. Thanks for sharing. 💛

Thank you for the pictures! Since you’re RVing full-time it’s so interesting from day to day how you survive and what you’re exploring - you should have your own Facebook or YouTube travels!

The weather's pretty close to perfect here, newname. The high temperature during the day is in the low 80's while at night it gets down to the upper 30's. No rain or clouds are in the forecast for the next 10 days, so we'll be making plenty of electricity with our solar panels. 🌞

This is our third year of fulltime RVing, larilyn, and we haven't had the first scary incident. The scariest thing that happened to me was in Montana when someone let their huge, St. Bernard sized dog off leash while I was out taking my walk. We were in bear country so I had my bear spray with me when the dog started barking at me. When it started to approach me aggressively I aimed my bear spray at it and it backed down. While we've met a few people on the road that could have been friendlier or a bit more considerate of their neighbors, almost everyone has been really friendly. We've already made what we know will be life-long friends. Just in case though, besides the bear spray (which can also be used on people) we also carry a taser with us.

Gosh, Erq1. It's such a small world. I'm waiving at the spirits of your kin on Dutch John Mountain. What a great place for a cabin.

I post tons on Facebook, Shrewdness, and I also post some videos on YouTube, but I don't do too many videos anymore. Videos require a lot of storage space and lots of internet bandwidth, which I often don't have. Feel free to "friend" me on Facebook. I go by the same name there, Lonnie Huffman. I also post all my pictures and videos on my website at www.LonnieHuffman.com. Thanks for your interest! 🙂

We've seen elk here, sloppysarj, as well as mule deer. There are also tons of lizards and birds. There are quite a few mice and chipmunks. We even saw a wild horse. Ranchers also keep some cattle nearby. I'm sure there are tons of other animals out here too that we just haven't seen yet.
