Haven't journaled in a while, but have been posting comments and exchanging correspondence with buddies. Thanksgiving was the expected diet disaster, but by Monday I was back on the wagon, and with going out for Thanksgiving dinner, there was none of that pesky leftover pie to derail my efforts. Not to mention the fact that I felt physically BAD after indulging in sugar, coffee, and carbs that have not been part of my daily diet since July. I really need to be disciplined through the next six risky weeks. With a passle of houseguests arriving in mid-December, it's going to be a challenge. I'm going to prepare by cleaning the pantry and fridge and figuring out how to feed a family of 4 w/2 teens who hate everything except pizza and spaghetti -- all while staying on the straight and narrow. I have my work cut out for me.
