Had a nice time out last night with our friends from the bike trip, but just 2 glasses of (delicious) red wine & you know me… didn't sleep well & groggy this morning. So, on high alert for the day & to not confuse fatigue for hunger! Off to zumba class shortly, church & up to work. It turns out the new washer I got last weekend has been leaking slowly, so have the repairman coming tomorrow, hence work today. But strong in my resolve to get through the weekend gluten, lactose & sugar aware and mindful of my true hunger!
So, will start my day in prayer --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.
And, I'll pray, breathe, journal & express my way on this one day and each one meal, moment, bite & emotion. I'm grateful for each of spectacular you, my family & IRL friends, a good weekend & good times reminiscing about our bike trip, & having the health and wealth to live this life I love! xoxox
