today was day 2 of my new job and my new healthy eating plan. yay! it has been going well. i feel tons better when i eat good stuff. it's nice. it is hard though because i am surrounded by temptations throughout the day. i even came home right after work and ate a sliver of berry pie. oops but it was just a little and i added it to my food diary. i need to become accountable. i know that if i do write everything down it will help me to skip stuff and make sure i really want a splurge/treat instead of just popping it in my mouth and then regretting it later.

i also worked out today. i started the couch to 5k. a couple years ago i could run 5k no problem so i know i can get there again. i want to find a 5k race to sign up for in feb after the 9 week program. i know there's always a st. patty's day run so i can do that one if there's not one before then.
