Thanks to all of you for your encouragement and suggestions. I’ve been stuck for about 3 to 4 weeks. Having said that, my body has also gone through some stress and unbeknown to me I’ve been dealing with a wrist fracture. I had a most inconvenient fall at work mid October and fell on my outstretched arm and thought I had simply sprained it. When I finally had it examined, the Dr was concerned about a scaphoid fracture which often doesn’t show on X-ray and casted it. Yesterday on follow up X-ray it was noted that I had a fracture of my radius (not my scaphoid) which hadn’t been immediately visible. So I think the stress and cortisol release due to the fracture may have contributed to my plateau. I’ve read about the egg fast. I don’t think I could do it so I’m continuing to work at keeping my calories at around 1200. There always seem to be days where this doesn’t work well so the main thing is to persist. On a happy note, I did finally loose a bit this week and broke through that plateau. Yay. Keep up the hard work everyone.
