Merry Christmas!! I know I'm a day late, but I hope everyone had a great Holiday! I'm going to do a weigh-in tomorrow and see what damage I've done over the last month or so. I'm sure it's not going to be pretty, but I really need to get back on track, so the first step is to be honest with myself and make a plan to get back to life as usual.

I was at my Uncle's house yesterday and he is in his early 50's and he has been running for about 2 years now, is in great shape, has started eating healthier and looks and feels great. About 10 years ago he was diagnosed with diabetes and after about 5 years started eating better and joined weight watchers. Now with the running these last couple of years, numerous 5K's, and just watching what he eats he is an inspiration! I am in my 30's, so if he can do it, I can do it too. I'm going to start running, but I'm going to start up when it warms up, that way maybe I'll be more apt to stick with it when it starts to cool off again. For now I need to get back into the DVD workout routine. I don't want to be like my uncle and realize at 50 that I could have been doing this all along.

Anyway, it's been a good holiday with lots of family, food, and gifts. Unfortunately, it's not over yet. Next weekend we're having a baby shower for my brother and his GF at my house, then the weekend after that is my hubby's side of the family Christmas at our house, so I'd better get prepared! Hopefully, though having more time because I'm done shopping and prepping will help me get back into the workout, eat right routine.

Have a great Day After Christmas!!
