Down a bit again, in spite of baking cookies yesterday. It's impossible to bake cookies and not sample some!! Anticipating a lot of company in the next few days and need to get baking and food in the house.
I'm trying to get more protein in the morning by having some eggbeaters with my toast and then a very light lunch such as a fruit. I'm close to my next goal of less than 170 lbs. Two more weeks before vacation and some R and R and I want to be able to get into my bathing suits. It may be hard over the next few days to stay the course, eat well and exercise but will persevere. It will be worth it in the end.

I know what you mean about the cookies. I had left over cookies from Christmas and through them out just so I wouldn't devour them all! Good luck this week. We just booked a trip to Cancun - leaving on Saturday and can't wait to get out of here. Where are you off to?

Thanks for the support. I'm off to Hawaii for 2 weeks in 2 weeks and will be leaving this eternal winter behind...I'm reminded of the book by CS Lewis: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, where because of the evil white witch, "It's always winter and never Christmas". Well Christmas was great, but it does seem like it's always winter around these parts. Have a terrific trip and try to stick with the plan while you're away...that will be the hard part.
