I have been giving you hints for weeks now... are you too dense to see it?!? this relationship just is not going to work. I do NOT want you!!! you are no longer welcome here! Stop fighting it, you have to go. You pounds of fat are like 44 crappy tenants destroying my property and refusing to leave. I am going to drive the rest of you out just like I already did to 13 of you guys. here is your notice! I will fight and fight until I get rid of you, one by one until you are all gone!!! Okay...hi everyone! my weigh-ins are on tuesdays. This week I have been eating really well and exercising alot. I didnt journal it because its pretty much the same things daily. Grapefruit in the morning, salad and sometimes a little portion of chicken breast at lunch, dinner varies but its always includes a salad. No soda, junk food, or fast food this week either.. I have been working out at least an hour each day since my weigh in. Yesterday I worked out for over 3 hrs (not all at once but in 30min intervals thru the day). anyhow... Wednesday the day after my weigh in, I had lost a pound. Great start! Woo hoo! But then.... Thursday, friday, and this morning... I am still fluctating up and down around that one pound. My goal is to take these 3 days before my next weigh in and really try and blast that fat so I can get down 2 lbs this week. I am going to do it! FAT... You are going down!!!!

I found that is better to weigh yourself a couple of times a week. If you are doing something wrong in your diet, why wait a whole week to find out.

We need food during the day. Not at night. When we don't eat a big breakfast, we train our body to think we are in a famine. It gets very very good at RETAINING fat, for survival. When we eat a big huge breakfast, it fuels us until our big healthy lunch. Then for dinner we don't need to gorge, or to crave cookies, cake, steak & potato, snacks before bed. We burn fat when we sleep. But if we eat a huge dinner or snacks before bed, our body spends a lot of time storing fat while we sleep. Since sleeping we don’t need a ton of food (a full belly). We need that DURING the day while we work. Exercising before the huge breakfast is the best time to burn fat, since we are already in burning fat mode. So as little as 10 to 15 min light to medium exercise is equal to 25 to 30 min later in the day. We don’t need to kill ourselves with aerobics to lose or maintain weight. ANYBODY can easily get fat with todays common diet and stressful lifestyle, but at 70 years old I'm still lean and healthy. How about how corporations have done this to us? Corporations produce the same basic poor quality foods, processed foods, Loaded with salt and fat, cakes and cookies with very little nutritional value (white flour, main ingredients SUGAR & FAT, then some spices or blueberries or chocolate to tempt us. And everything including cosmetics filled with supertoxins, which overload the liver with false estrogenetic chemicals ) https://www.google.com/#q=supertoxins%2C+estrogenetic Yes, and it's also due to us having so little time (commuting, working, rushing around doing things that need doing) that we don't have time to eat a good breakfast, leisurely to properly digest our healthy food choices. Billtech66 thank you for all the great advice and info! It all makes sense! I have heard that about the importance of a big breakfast.... But my mind when it comes to eating is just really twisted so if I start out eating a big breakfast it pretty much sets the tone for the rest of my meals to be just as big... Or bigger! I actually used to skip breakfast but now I eat a grapefruit to get my metabolism moving. As far as workouts... I have been working out right AFTER I eat meals whenever possible (after breakfast, after lunch, after dinner). My theory has been to catch it before it becomes fat??? But I guess your theory about working out BEFORE breakfast makes sense. I will give it a try!!! (I will add an extra workout pre breakfast because I still like my working out after eating theory too ;) ). Jennbuck61 LOL thanks! I think after my workout today that I felt another one of those fat pounds packing their bags to move out! Hehehe!

Hi Jess, finally got round to last weeks challenge. I have had a bath with bubbles up to my ears by candlelight (and a glass of wine, not on diet plan but hey, ho) a manicure and pedicure and feel so much better doing something for me. Thank you. Still not braved the scales at been at friends for the weekend, tradional roast dinner and breakfast...

Laviniamuresann, Hi! I consider myself an expert at gaining weight (hahaha) but unfortunately not with healthy food (and not on purpose). Im actually here to try and lose weight... like 44 more pounds. you can gladly have my fat if you want it :) Seriously, I know trying to get to an ideal weight is difficult for most people whether they need to lose or gain weight. I have seen some people on the site who are trying to gain weight, they might be able to give you better and healthier advice than I can. Maybe you can find a group on here. My brother and oldest son are also very thin and they try everything to gain weight but it is very difficult because they have a very high metabolism. If you do find something to works for you please let me know and I will share it with them. Best of luck to you! (((Hug)))

Thanks for answering me Jess :)...Well as i told you,i'm new here so...i tryed to find people who are trying to gain weight,but i haven't...I have a very high metabolism just like your brother and your oldest son,but i hope that with this site's help i will increase my weight soon...If i'll find something wich works for me i'll let you know so that you can tell your brother and your son :D

You are working out. Remember muscle weighs more than fat. Measure inches here and there also.
