Eating lots of spinach from the garden for breakfast lately. Overdone it today- my teeth are all squeaky! Does anyone else find that with Spinach?

Yes I eat spinach once an year only and avoid it because it cause teeth problems. It stops the absorption of calcium they say. Micronutrients issue. I do love it though.

Spinach shouldnt be considered a SOURCE of calcium. It doesnt stop you absorbing calcium from other foods. I’m positive this is right!!

trytry...ur body doesn't absorb calcium well from foods high in oxalates such as spinach, rhubarb,beet greens and certain beans, they all contain other healthy nutrients but should not be counted as a Source of calcium..it does contain 250mg calcium per cup but doesn't easily absorb it...looked it up coz this convo got me curious!
