Leftover veggie Shepherd's Pie from last night's dinner. I used nutritional yeast in the mash instead of cheese and lots of salad leaves from the greenhouse, picked just momoents before scoffing. Ate more for lunch than I did last night... Stuffed now!

I am just discovering the wonders of nutritional yeast, did u use a plant based/Quorn mince or veggies underneath? It looks amazing 🤤

Hey booty! I've been on the yeasty train a few years now, it's so great!! I used some dried soya mince I bought at the local farm shop 😊

Lovely, next pie I do I will be trying it with the yeast. Just got mine and also some black salt last week,,learned how to do tofu scramble,,starting to get into the swing of vegan life now, it's a bit hard with lockdown and only being able to shop at 1supermarket so I'm always veggie and vegan when I can ❤️

Eating freshly gathered leaves must be such a pleasure! I don’t have a greenhouse but I do have a kitchen windowsill.

Booty, that's great! Well done to you. I'm not vegan but I find a good balance. So often vegan food is can be unhealthy. Tofu is great, so versatile! I tried to make it from soy beans once- never again 😆

Hey try try! Windowsills are great for salad leaves, herbs and microgreens, not to mention sprouted seeds that you can sprout in a jar over a few days 😊

We r the same here,,no garden,,but me and my wee yin plant cress and herbs on our window sill, and Turbo (tortoise) enjoys eating them too. I'm thinking of buying the tarp 'pockets' to pin up on one of the walls in my kitchen and making it a growing wall ♥️
