Hi guys, this is my first journal entry and oh my God, I can't believe I'm down to 66kg, I haven't been this weight since high-school 😭😅The truth is I can't take all the credit because my Hpylori infection from February brought me from 74 to 71 and that's when I downloaded FatSecret and decided to take the reigns of my nutrition and watch what I eat (a practice I abandoned years ago 💁♀️) While before I'd crash diet and workout at the gym like an idiot (which is out of the picture with the lock down) this time I wasn't trying to lose weight on fast forward, just develop better eating habits and 1 month and a half later look at this! All I did was watch my macros (I still eat too many carbs, just trying not to go over 150g) try to walk 10 000 everyday and mantain a deficit of 300-500 kcal every day (which, mind you, wasn't every day 🙈) no starving, no exercise to exhaustion, enjoy my sweets but not go over 25g of processed sugar in a day and try eat at least 50g of protein a day. Given that I'm vegan/vegetarian some bits were trickier but I got to cook at home more and that helped. A big thank you to the community here, its so refreshing to see real everyday people encourage and support each other in getting to a better place with their weight and health, such a difference to all those smacy pants apps. Right, enough writing for today, here's to everyone on this app keep up the good work 👏💪🥂
