Today I left work early, couldn't stand being inside a warehouse one more minute, so I put in for last minute vacation day ... at 1:00 PM, after working 6 hours. LOL. Came home and walked around the yard. After falling down the stairs in January and twisting my knee, this was my first opportunity to check on my shrubs. Lilacs are budding out!!!

I have been really good this week, watching what I eat, doing the "no soda" challenge, and feeling pretty good about myself.

I have gotten so much support already on this site. The people are real and they really care.

Hi DeeDee, I started a low carb diet Jan. 7 and I have lost 28 lbs. as of today! Just not eating, sweets, breads, potatoes....anything with lots of sugar! Can have steaks, salads, veggies! It's not a bad diet. Just want to get off about 80 more lbs! Good luck! We didn't put it on in a day...I'm hoping to be down to my goal weight in about 9 mos. It feels great to lose weight!!
