Was reading online that the avg. female walks about 5000 steps a day (about 2 1/2 miles) and that sounds about right for me most days without the treadmill. I might start using a pedometer and start tracking the extra steps I've been trying to get in and log that way for exercise. Parking further away in the parking lot, walking down every aisle in the store (and not buying more), going for one item at a time in another room even if I need five items. I'm not sure how to log it yet but I might have to use other and log it that way.
My sodium count is way too high and I'm retaining water weight, I will have to cut down.

Well 10,000 steps a day is about 3 miles, so it depends on how big of a step you take. But any exercise is great.

A major problem for me is that I am not exercising, very sedentary. I hope to change that soon if I can get into a Weights class for elderly. Meanwhile Doctor has me on Optifast - I have had 1 binge in 2 weeks, but otherwise it is o.k. I notice your carbs are low on 3/4/14 - is this deliberate?

No, not deliberate. My doctor switched my anti-inflammatory/pain killer and I kind of sleep on and off some of the day. I really didn't feel like eating too much but I did cook dinner for everyone including myself. It's not as bad today, just a little tired and I want to eat today.
