I bought some adult colouring books, found them very therapeutic and they distracted me from wanting to smoke, I’ve been smoke free for 3 years

I went on a vape for few weeks then I was out walking exercising boxing couple of days was bit rough but it’s mind over matter

this October will be 3 years smoked since 17 and up to 40 a day i wont lie bloody nightmare was like coming off crack i vape now no nicotine but i put on weight hence here lots of baths loads of cleaning my sence of smell came bk i painted and the white is still white i took up sewing and guitar sewing still i dont miss it till i drink wine but the vape helps now got to stop that

Stopped last November with help from Champix tablets, they stopped the cravings but mess with your personality for 3 months, stopped properly now, just need to give up the snacks!

Nothing, didn't need any distractions, just didn't want a cig any more 🤷‍♀️ Can recommend Allen Carr's easy way to stop smoking x

Champex tablets fae chemist help me for 3 months took the cravings away just went on walks wi dogs wi nice views wee gym session

My dad quit by ending up in hospital for a while after falling out of a window. Lol Don't get any ideas!

I walked my dog after my breakfast and my dinner the two smokes that I found hardest to give up! It’s about breaking routine! Good luck 🤞🏼

I second AnnaBanana's recommendation - read Allen Carr's 'Easy Way to Stop Smoking'. It 'cures' you of your addiction - I feel like I never smoked in the first place, no cravings, don't miss it for one second, no sense of being deprived of cigarettes or having to use willpower - you simply don't want to smoke anymore! Good luck x

I was a very heavy smoker for more than 40 years and tried everything - hypnosis, sprays, gum, patches, NLP, Allen Carr's book, you name it. 18 months ago I was investigated for lung cancer. Turned out to be emphysema. I stopped smoking cigarettes and use a vape. I miss cigarettes but wouldn't have one now. Also discovered this app at the same time and managed not to put on loads of weight during lockdown
