Here's a little tip for some of the newer folks on here. If you're using the database to update your food each day, be careful about the source of the entry. I have found a couple of name brands that were added by 'members' which were completely wrong in terms of the nutritional information. Maple Leaf Bacon is one example. The sodium, fat, and protein content were all way off. I verified this by checking the packaging and with the manufacturer's website. In this case, the item in the seach was added by a mobile user who obviously made an error in the entry or was making an entry for a different type of bacon. If you discover this, you can edit the item if you want or you can create your own custom food (which is what I did). If you're going to the trouble of logging everything you eat each day, you want it to be as accurate as possible. Hope this helps. Good luck everyone.
