Start with small changes you can manage and take on more as you get for comfortable and learn more. Get a kitchen scale, weigh everything you eat, including fats used in cooking, milk and sugar in coffee etc, often times you have no idea of portion size, that happened to me, I thought I was eating less in weight of the food than I actually was. Try become more active - start by waking around the block and so just a bit more every week

Take your measurements as well - the scale van often be very de motivating. And more than anything, don't give up, even when you feel like you are failing, everyday is an opportunity to do better

Good luck, just stick to you your calorie count target for the day and you’ll get there in no time. It’ll start slow and will be hard at first but the hunger will pass as your body gets used to the new normal. If you calorie count you can still treat yourself now and then! You’ll also find great snacks like rice cakes, jam and sweetened whipping cream it’s about 80 calories per rice cake serving and is a great snack. I usually have 2 as a snack. Watermelon is also great snack food. Some days you’ll lose the battle but just keep at it every day. It’s what you do most days that makes the change not the slip ups here and there. I’ve lost over 16kg and am very happy that I’ve started calorie counting instead of another fad diet.

We are more or less on the very same journey here ...lol... 112/113 to get down to 99/100... good luck. I am on my 2nd week...lost 0.9kg so far. Hoping it will improve as I am counting calories aswell now
