Yes, one day at a time it is… and once again, journaling is so therapeutic for me! Expressing what I'm feeling, no matter what it is, how crazy it seems, or how counter-productive as I build my healthy eating & living roadway, is exactly what the doctor always orders. So, note to self -- no matter I'm feeling, this is the place to let it out! Each time as the words leave my head, hit the keyboard & end up here on my journal, it's such a freeing, wonderful experience. And, knowing all of you are there for me -- crazy, irrational, sad, counterproductive or whatever I'm feeling -- is the icing on the cake… figuratively only, of course!
Its a rainy, gloomy morning here in the northeast, but I'm off to workout, have a facial this afternoon :), and bookkeeping work to fill in the gaps. First, though, I'll pray --
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next. Amen.
And, I'll pray, breathe, log, journal & express my way through this one day and each one meal, moment, bite, thought & emotion. I'm so very grateful for each of incredible you, my family & IRL friends, feeling good even in the gloomy weather, hot bulletproof coffee, a facial to look forward to and having the health & wealth to live this life I love! xoxox
