Refrained from nagging #1 when he called for secretarial support in obtaining the AMEX travel number in order to reschedule his flight to EU which he missed because he left his passport at friends apt and for reasons I don't even want to fathom is apparently incapable of sourcing a phone number in Manhattan. Also refrained from inquiring about his travel phone service, because I know the answer. Not handled. Which means he's headed to Europe without a phone. Coffee. Pills for Pop. Realized, when pulling laundry, that #1's bird is literally starving. Locate, after knight worthy quest, bird food hidden in storage closet. Fed and watered bird. She's very grateful. Decided to not run cause foot is semi fucked and I want to lift tonight. Fired up smoker so they'll be self serve food when #2 gets back from mom's. Morning weigh-in. Forget to prep Pork last night. No rub, so made new batch from scratch. Prepped pork for smoker. Refrained from reminding #2 that he committed to be home this morning to ride shotgun to Cousin G's surgery. Or that the week is now effectively gone, he still hasn't tested for his drivers license, won't be able to test for the next month and a half, and won't be able to live independently of his mother when school starts in August - his supposed #1 life priority, achievable only through considerable dad expense - without license. Laundry out. Coffee. Washed overflowing unavoidable sink full of dishes - empty at lights out last night. Coffee. Pork on smoker. Morning shot. And by that I mean "done," not Jameson's. No workout, no practice.
