You know what I have tried? Try to put your fork and knife down while you chew. And do not pick them up until you have chewed each mouthful at least 8-10 times. It will slow you down, teach you how to feel when you have enough. It works. Plus you will enjoy your food more through tasting it properly and not rushing through a plateful, before you realise you are quite stuffed and have over done it. Give it a try. Also eat all the veg and salad part first it is kind of voluminous and makes you feel more full. Drinking water ahead of each meal helps too.
