Ugh have to go to the RS and help some kid with his pull-ups I hate having to help people who don't want to enlist but want all the benefits of me working out with them. Yes I like helping people but today I'm going to tell him If he wants any further help he has be serious about enlisting and and is going to talk about it with his recruiter. and he's weak. It's horrible any advice would be great please help!!!!!!

I'm sorry, I don't know what to say to motivate a kid to get them to basic. But I totally understand where your coming from. Most of the kids I was having to deal with fresh out of basic when I was in were so entitled it wasn't funny.

assistance exercises: wide grip bent barbell rows, barbell bicep curls, cable Lat pull-downs, cable face-pulls. These help to build strength in the Lats, biceps, rear deltoids, and traps...all of the muscles involved in pull-ups. Try not to be so hard on the kid, if he doesnt want to enlist thats his choice.
