So, my weight's still a bit up from the weekend, but today my pants feel like they're going to fall off - can someone explain? I've been doing this "fat loss" weight training for a couple of weeks, and good news! I started a little treadmill running last week. Just kind of running 1 minute for every 1/4 mile on the treadmill, did so again last night. The REALLY good news is, my back isn't hurting, which was the reason I stopped running last year. So I'm thinking maybe the weight training is strengthening the lower back muscles, which is helping to absorb/stabilize the lumbar spine. Definitely going to look into this further.

BUT the weight gain. Trying not to get too freaked out about it, but yeah, every voice in my head is screaming about it. Like I said, I feel like if I'm not "dieting" I'm gaining, which is the exact opposite of what I want to do. But my pants feel so loose? I'll check my waist/hip measurements & compare with the last time I took them, fingers crossed on that!
