A total of 2.6 miles today. I ran for a bit in the park. I don't know what got me past my fear of being seen in public doing exercise, but I just took off after my warm-up. I am feeling really empowered now, but not just because I am running again, something I haven't done since 8th grade over 20 years ago, but because I broke my time for 2 miles that had held for 2 decades. I know it's not an impressive time, but still to have made it that far is incredible for me: 37:23. I am ecstatic.
