Starting today, July 16 2014, I'm going to weigh twice a week. I'm going to weigh on Wednesday and Sunday morning, before coffee. I'm going to see if twice a week causes too much OCD behavior, or if it helps me maintain.

I weigh myself 1st thing every morning and before bed every night. I believe this gives me a better idea of what my true weight is.

Thanks for the input! I prefer once a week, but my Dr agrees with you, and recommended I try at least the "twice a week approach" now that I'm entering the maintenance phase, which of course is life long.

Since weight fluctuates so much, honestly the less you weigh in the better for someone that is OCD. Just saying.

That's my main issue Liam. While I'm not a true OCD, I do have a bit of it in me. So I figure twice a week will be enough for me to monitor changes without freaking out about it. If it proves to be more trouble than it's worth, I will go back to my Sunday morning approach that has worked so well.......... Thanks for the input!

I was weighing in once a week on Sundays, and found I was nervous by Thursday and Friday about how i was doing, if I was exercising enough or eating within my guidelines just right. So I started weighing on Wednesday as well and have more peace of mind about it. Some will argue against it, but just like every lifestyle change, or diet that exists, you gotta find what works for you. There is no cookie cutter approach (pun intended) to weight loss!

Dude!! That describes my Thursday evenings - Sunday mornings for the last 6 months! lol I thought it was just me.
