We planted those purple beans one year. I was so disappointed when we cooked them & they turned green. LOL 😂

I like to serve them raw with a dip, so we can enjoy them purple. Because otherwise, why not just grow green beans? 

Although those are beans, we call them purple-hull peas. My grandmother used to cook them long and slow with pork belly and lots of garlic.

Beautiful beans!! I like the purple ones because they are easier to see when picking - I miss too many of the green ones. 

I think beans are my fav veggie! Those look awesome, nothing smells as nice as fresh picked beans!
